Jessica Kulekjian has created a unique style of non-fiction book that is very appealing to readers and that will continue to be a favourite through the years. I love how this story can be shared as just that, a story with early years readers and as they grow, readers and their adults can start exploring the asides by the little red bird to learn the science and some interesting facts about weather systems.

Zoe Si’s illustrations are inviting, making the subject matter fun and easily accessible. I love the sweet little cloud and the little red bird gently guiding the reader throughout the book. She uses lots of colour and fills the pages with interest, leaving little moments for the reader to discover each time they access the story.
